CONDEGA Volcanes de Nicaragua: CERRO NEGRO Limited Edition

CONDEGA cigars decided to commemorate the beautiful but dangerous volcano CERRO NEGRO with its Volcanes de Nicaragua Limited Edition 2022 .
To achieve that, I designed this box inspired by the nicaraguan Cerro Negro volcano. Its black matt body references the black hillside of the volcano while the red lid and interior represent the volcano's caldera with its boiling lava.
Besides the wrapped cardboard box, I designed the 10 'coffins' (individual cigar boxes) made out of 'folding' cartboard that protect the cigars inside. These coffins have the information of the cigars' strength and composition written on the outside along with a text about the Cerro Negro volcano.
The project also included the creation of a Limited Edition 2022 ring to come along with the strong black ring that characterizes Condega's Volcanes de Nicaragua Limited Edition
