For the second Volcanes de Nicaragua Limited edition, CONDEGA wanted to pay homage to one of the most famous volcanoes of Nicaragua: The MASAYA

To do that, I designed this series of boxes inspired by the black volcanic soil that's so loved by the cigar world. Its matt black color is present on all of the boxes' surfaces, looking like ash and soil while streghtening the brightness of the gold and red elements that characterize the CONDEGA brand.

4 box designs were made out of wood while the last one was made, for the first time, out of wrapped cardboard with 10 'folding' cardboard coffins (individual cigar boxes) protecting the cigars inside. These coffins have information about the strength and composition of the cigars written on them along with a text about the masaya volcano.

The project also needed a special ring for this limited edition, so I designed an adaptation of the original Serie 'S' ring with a black background and a glossy finish that enhances the volcanic inspiration of this very special edition.
